By admin | Oct 22, 2009

The reason some people cannot find sanctification in the Word of God is the same reason that a burglar cannot find a policeman. They aren’t looking for it. There are those who say that Jesus never taught this doctrine and experience while He was in the flesh. The purpose of this article is to share [...]

An Autobiography of Paul the Apostle

By Ken Perdue | Mar 13, 2009

As the Apostle Paul speaks of his life, he was not vainly boasting. Rather, he is assuring both Timothy and us that any investment we may make in the kingdom of heaven will be well rewarded! Paul had sacrificed much over the course of his life to evangelize the gentile world and establish churches; but Paul expresses no regret. He is confident that he is the one who will be benefited by giving his life to the Master. In the end, we who love and serve Jesus Christ will certainly receive far more from our heavenly father than we ever could have sacrificed in a hundred lifetimes of Christian service and commitment.

Christians Should Heed Biblical Call to Consecration

By Dr Nelson S Perdue | Mar 12, 2009

Leviticus is where we find God’s directions as given to His people regarding worship and rituals such as the various sacrificial offerings. One offering was unique in that the whole animal is placed on the altar and offered as a sacrifice. This part of Old Testament ritual and worship points forward to the great biblical truth of consecration.

Paul Intentionally Pursued Close Walk With Christ

By Dr Nelson S Perdue | Mar 12, 2009

Paul’s passion to know Jesus personally supplied him with the strength that he needed to face many trials, obstacles, perils, and even persecution. God also has the power that we need for the many trying circumstances that we face. The means to experience His fortifying power comes when we consider earthly aspirations and efforts as rubbish and intentionally pursue a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ at any cost.

Holiness: A Desirable Experience and a Beautiful Life

There is nothing more beautiful than holiness, more attractive than purity, or more enduring than love. These are the cardinal qualities of entire sanctification.

Our Likeness in Christ

By Dr Nelson S Perdue | Feb 20, 2009

In Ephesians 4:1, the Apostle Paul says that we are to “walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called.” The word vocation, makes the whole of life a spiritual business. Whatever we do in order to pay our bills, provide for shelter, food, clothing, and any other necessity of life, is considered an AD-vocation. However our Vocation is to live our lives for the salvation of souls, bringing the lost back to Him and in so doing to glorify Christ. We are called to be His witnesses. The only place a witness is needed is in this present world. It has been stated that Jesus was the visible expression of the invisible Father and we, as His children, are to be the visible expression of the invisible Christ, “because as he is, so are we in this world.”

Holiness Evangelism: A Timely Message

By Dr Nelson S Perdue | Feb 19, 2009

The early leaders of the holiness movement were faithful in their teaching of the doctrine of entire sanctification. They knew that man’s greatest problem was sin, and that God’s grace of entire sanctification was the only answer to this grave problem…As our early church fathers believed that scriptural, doctrinal preaching of holiness and evangelism went hand in hand, we too, must be clear in our preaching of the doctrine of entire sanctification in order to realize holiness evangelism.

Be Ye Holy; For I am Holy

By Dr Nelson S Perdue | Feb 18, 2009

The command, “Be ye Holy,” as every other command that God gives, pre-supposes an enabling in the power of sovereign grace. What He purposes for our lives He has provided and we can procure through the merits of Calvary.
